Tonight whilst driving home in the rain, my front windscreen wipers packed up, rear one still working perfectly. At first I thought it might be a problem with the auto wipers, so I tried switching them on permanently, but no joy. I checked the fuse, which was fine. When I switch the wipers on, I can only hear the relay clicking when I turn it on to the fastest setting, none of the others make a sound. Everything else seems to be working (though I haven't checked everything) and no warning lights have come on.
I'm suspecting the motor is gone? Does anyone else have any ideas, and if it is the motor, is it a simple job to do?
