Windscreen Wipers

This is a bit of a lame question but... I have had my 172 for about 3 weeks now and while it has been raining I have noticed a rather annoying crescent shaped bit of screen that doesnt get wiped. It is between the bottom of the right hand blade and the top of the left in the parked position. Is this the way it is due to the way the right hand blade moves out or was Halfords talking c**p when they said 21/21 blades are fitted to the Clios?

Its because of the way the drivers side blade moves out to the edge of the screen. Both wiper blades are 21"

Ive had a loan 172 from my dealer for bout a week (until mine arrives) and i noticed this. Thought it was just the blades were knackered. im still trying to get used to the automatic wipers!!!!!!!!!!

Would a 22 on the drivers side be too long? Anyone tried that? The Peugeot 306Gti6 that I had before was fitted with 22/21 blades!
