Wing Mirror Front Bits

One of mine dont fit too snug with the plastic rim, whereas the other is nicely flush. Any1 elses like that? Any help?

Boy have i got a list of petty jobs to do on my car tomorrow! Keeps me happy though.

I was tryin to clip it back in with strength but didnt wanna break the wing mirror, is it even surpose to clip in? Any1 fixed thiers?
