Wing mirrors

Is there something i can do in order to fix my wing mirrors?

Both are really tight to fold and squeek when folding.

Can i clean them or lubricate them?

Is there a way to open and clean them? Surely, i can't be the only one with this issue.

Where would the best place to spray them? should i remove the mirrors from the door and do it?

Spray some wd40 into where the mirror hinges, then let it soak a few moments and keep folding the mirror in and out...might have to do this a few times to free it up..honestly i wouldnt bother with the hastle of removing and stripping them mate
