Wiper Arm Removal

hey, anyone any idea how to remove the wiper arms on a mk2 clio? even with the bolts taken off the assembly the wiper arms dont come off. The reason im asking is cause autoglass fitted my new windscreen but the arms are totally setup wrong and the triangle bit catches on the bonnet when the wipers are in use

On the mk1 clio you have to use a special pulling tool - draper do em, which hooks under the wiper arm and then scrwws down onto top od nut, forcing the wiper arm off, you cant get it off wihtout it cus you have to pull that hadr it woudl just rip it outa the boot lid

I managed to get the back one off with a little force no problem. However when i took the front ones off its as Lunner said you need a specialist tool!

yeah, went n bought a universal puller today, worked for two of the wiper arms, but i cant get the passenger side windscreen wiper off cause it wont fit in past the scuttle panel. Shall try again 2moro.

Set the wipers up wrong anyway, the aux arm doesnt swing round enough so theres a big triangle bit it misses, need to have a look at another clio to see how theres is set up.

i didnt av trouble wit ne of my wiper arms, jus a case of takin off the nut and then liftin the arm up and wiggle it until it comes off

mmm, alright for some, mine were hard to take off, came off with a bang, put them back on, tried to take them back off with my hands and they might aswell have been welded on, and im not exactly a wee guy with stick arms
