Wiper removal tool?

  Clio k4j - Clio 200T
hi, from my experience .. the easiest way i found to remove the wipers is to use a simple bearing puller.. like this:

i've used mine many times and is a breeze...

I made my own puller as I couldn't get my proper pullers on the small shaft and/or they foul the windscreen/bonnet.

Used a piece of 1 inch by 2 inch box section steel, drill a 10mm hole in what will be the bottom side then cut a shallow vee from the edge of the box towards the hole. That will be slipped under the wiper arm. Next, drill a 13mm hole opposite the earlier one and tap it out 12mm. Screw a 50mm long bolt through this hole and tighten two nuts against each other onto the bolt so that the lower one is only half on the bolt. This will allow the end of the wiper shaft to locate in the bottom nut and not keep slipping off. Wind the bolt in and the arm should pop right off, but it's a good idea to mark up the position of your wipers first or you'll have them on and off plenty of times if your anything like me...
