Wireless Support in Vista 64

  1.6 Focus, 1.6 122S
I have a Linksys Wireless Adapter which will connect to the router and therefore the internet no problem, but after its been on for an amount of time / hour, it constantly cuts out, to the point where it is unuseable.
Although Linksys say on there site that they do not support Vista I thought that I would buy one of there USB wireless dongles but alas that doesn't work at all!
I then bought A Netgear wireless Adapter which boasts being Vista compatible, how ever it still decided not to work, i'm guessing that it was only 32bit ?
Which brings me back to square one, and these questions:
Is my current linksys adapter going skits because of incompatibility? If so are there any drivers out there?
If it is just busted does anybody know of any Adapeters or USB dongles that are Vista 64 bit compatible?

netgear dont support any of their products in x64 vista, although you can just use the atheros drivers. same chipset you see

the above posted wouldnt work in x64 either, again unless you find and use atheros drivers.

  Better than yours. C*nt.
Get a Minicard adapter and use an Intel 3945abg notebook adapter - they have x64 support...

Anything using the broadcom bcm4306 (I think) chipset will work. Although mine sometimes drops the signal, but it did that in xp so think its a dodgy card.

Hmm, think my Linksys card uses that chip, but it also has a tendancy to drop out.

Vista is up to date as far as i know!
