there is a gromit just below the glove box are, youll have to move the carpet out the way though.

earth it to the seatbelt bolt

Dont need to move any carpet its above where the carpet finishes but it is below/behind the glovebox.

Ditto on the earth thats the one i found worked best.

i earthed to the boot catch, boot still closes no problem, as i cut the metal loop off and just put wires under the catch

tape your power lead to a small screwdriver (I used a terminal screwdriver), then force it through the grommet under where the bonnet release wire goes. When it's through, keep hold of the wire whilst twisting and pulling the scredriver towards you, hopefully (!!) leaving the wire through the grommet.

Open the bonnet, remove PAS bottle (lifts up but will be stiff), then put your hand down the back of the sound / heat proofing and feel for the wire.

Bobs yer uncle....

in order to get it through i stab the grommet with a screw driver then get a metal coat hanger and bend the end so i have a hook, push it through and then hook the terminal from the battery cable onto the hanger then pull the hanger back through, takes 5 minutes instead of hours of f'n and blinding.lol
