Wiring my neon’s!

I have just recently bought some interior neon’s which plug into my cigarette lighter. I would like to take them straight off my battery but don’t know how to get the wires from the battery straight to the dash area.

use ixisting wires that are already in the car. Just bring a second power off an already existing power wire. mate just used the power wire from his head unit and the earth from the cig lighter wire. easy. could just use both cig lighter wires if dont mind having to put the key in to get power to them.

its a 1.4i sport x-reg and the thing is pete when i had them in the cig lighter they didnt seem to work when i had my normal lights on but cheers

right

in the passenger footwell there is a large grommet, i have squeezed 4awg power cable through there so fitting the power cable from the neon shjould be a piece of pi$$

if you feed it through there it will come out in the engine bay behind a clear plastic container, connect these to the battery and bobs your aunties brother

you might wanna think about putting some inline fuses in there in some fuse holders, like some 5amp jobbies, I used some when doing my underbody kit!

also sticking them on a switch will help, otherwise you will have no control over when they are on or off

just out of interest i was wonderin how you connect them to the battery cus i want two a neo in each footwell but dont kno how to go about it?

that exactly what i have done mate! i just re-soldered a 2core wire onto the circuit board and then just striaght to my battery.
