Can you just tuck the wires for an amp under the kickplates without having to take the whole thing off? If you cant how do you take it off?

Is it a mk1 or a mk2, on the Mk1s you just get ur fungers underneth(painful) and pull upwards hard, and the clips come undone

Its a 2003. There is enough room to get my fingers under but I dont wanna pull it too far if its not meant to!

you can pop them off- depends what ur running if you need it - for the power cable - as it may only be the +ive cable and remote on - you will get away without pulling the trim off - but if its thicker cable - 4 gauge or larger - you may want to remove it - its not too hard - i think it just clips off (in the trim), pull the little window off near the front seat and you should be able to see a one of the clips IIRC
