Wishbone and ARB Powerflex bushes

I understand how the wishbone ones are fitted and it looks simple enough. Is it really necessary to tack the collars in place though?

Also, what are the ARB bushes like to fit?

I think it's necessary. ARB bushes are a pain to fit unless the subframe is off the car.

Tack wishbone collars (3 to 4 1cm welds) in otherwise they'll move and pop out, plenty of horror stories on here if you search. FARB I did mine on axle stands (check my project thread), way to do it is take off and replace (make sure new is on correct way) get a massive big GS and use the floor pan up and behind the bush mounting bracket as a fulcrum point. Pull down as hard as you can tip of GS is against floor pan and GS stem is on and closing the bracket so you can get the screw in. Took 10 mins a side once I worked out this method. Fulcrum points\law of the lever and all that. Bigger the GS the easier it'll be.
