Wishbones

  Clio 182
may have been covered before if so I apologise in advance. My question is are the wishbones same for a standard 182 and a 182 cup pack car as my bottom ball joint is banging and I can get a complete wish bone cheap I've asked ecp and they don't know. Thanks in advance

No there different pal.. I don't have a picture to show the difference but the cup wishbones have increased castor. Just had my MOT and it had an advisory for bottom ball joint. I've searched through Renaults parts website and I can't find cup wishbones only standard so I'm guessing they've stopped making them due to how old the 1*2s are.

Not sure if you've got cup suspension? but If you don't mind losing the extra castor then just buy a new wishbone as they come with new bushes/balljoint.. I'm going to keep my existing cup wishbones and just buy aftermarket balljoints, not sure which brand to get though.. Don't want to fit cheap Rubbish.

Cheers matey I've got a little clunking sound not too loud but it's there when putting it in reverse there's no movement in ball joints but I've read somewhere on here it could be ball joints and I can get 2 for £40 I'm just waiting on a new dog bone to change that first
