WMP and playing dvd's

is there a free codec you can get for WMP so it can play dvd's??

ive seen that page on MS but you have to pay.

i only wana watch a 10min dvd clip, so dont really wana pay

VLC (free) plays DVD's by default.

Yeah because it makes sense to install a bunch of codecs when VLC will play virtually any format by default.

i downloaed some 123 codec thing.

seems to play dvd's
