Wobbly gearstick

Finally got my clio back after a week in the garage, with a new clutch and driveshaft paid for by warranty.

However, a week of driving the work's pool car (a fiesta) has made my realise how wobbly the gear stick is in my clio.

Whenever I accellerate or deccellerate the gear stick flies forwards or backwards, not enough to knock it out of gear but enough to jolt my arm.

Has anyone else experienced this? The car is a 1.6 with 73k on the clock.

Ah fair enough, I was worried the GB was on the way out. Teaches you to keep two hands on the wheel anyway!

The gearboxes are all like that anyway mate, unless it grinds into gear or anything, i would worry about it too much.

Yep dogbone mount, had the same prob woth the Cup and the powerflex bush sorted me out a treat
