Wolfrace Voodoo's

  Clio 1.2 Mk2 Ph1
Just picked these up with nearly new tyres for £80, couldnt turn them down! Only a few scratches on one wheel! 15". A nightmare to get fitted! Ive been at it with a file all night trying to take 2mm off the bit that connects to the hub! I dont have an image so google them and let me know what you think, will also be dropping the car 60/40mm after these are fitted... Oh the alloys are silver like the OEM alloys and im going to pen the WOLFRACE logo in blue so they match up a little better :)

You have been filing the bores to get them to fit your hub??

Take them to someone and get them machined properly?

I didnt think i was going to like these but they are a steal at £80 and they look rather nice IMO. Im gunna try them and if they dont work out i know plenty of peeps who will take them off my hands for double my money!

Probably the worst of the old school tsw's.

Oh and on the Escort part of me died inside.

I dont recall posting 's**t the bed' on here often... You must know me in real life!!! However, my remark was due to the retro-ness of the wheels in question. As regards youre attempts to increase the centre bore of the wheel, put the files down and get them taken to a machine shop to get them done properly. Youll never get a true circle by filing alone.

Seeing as I get stick im going to post a little problem I have; Since putting the new alloys on Ive had horrible steering wheel shaking above 70mph. Had the wheels balanced and its still there :( Any ideas, they are fixed using extended bolts and spacers. Thanks

Easier to just buy some wheels that fit? Probly cheaper in the long run too.

You could of had some ph2 172 wheels for not much more than 100 notes with tyres if you hunted about on here.

Where abouts are you from?

I'll make sure I dont go anywhere near there, dont fancy a ton of clio barrel rolling towards me when your wheels fall off.

Seriously, you are going to kill yourself/others.

What spacers?

I found out the problem, the spacers im using are too wide and the alloy is not connected to the spigot ring or so the mecahnic says, due to this ill never rid the shake? Im going to sell the wheels (not on here as you all know ive attacked them with a file!) and look out for the 15" ph2 alloys. They will look better anyway!

Lovely, your comment is greatly appreciated. Why even comment? Im looking for help hence my starting the thread! I hate people that give forums a bad name by trolling people with less knowledge than themselves!

Ive never done anything I thought would endanger myself or other road users, Ive alway sought professional help when something is beyond my knowledge!

Don't sell these to someone else.

It sounds like you weren't even using hubcentric spacers either, surprised the wheel didn't fall off

You know what? Of all the people that ive spoken too about this, not one has mentioned 'hub-centric' and they all claim to be professionals! After a quick google I feel like a right tool! Its so obvious now lol! Getting these wheels off right now, and putting the standard 14"s on until something better comes up.
