I organised a meet for us East Midlands lot today at Wollaton Hall, Nottingham. Bit of a fail tbh. Not that many turned up, considering how many were meant to...
3 Clios, 1 Scenic and about 8-9 people attend.

Here are some of the crap photos I took before we got bored of watching the deer and taking photos of a tiny spider on the fence.

What are you putting the s**t turnout down to? was it a bit cold/windy?

Weather was hit and miss with rain... Pissed it down on my way home But it wasn't bad up until then!

s**t area reps and Lame Midlands area members. If it's not on their doorstep they won't show up...even when they say they will.

I didn't upload my spider photo, as it didn't make the cut. Im sure Sy's photo of it will be of much better quality.

Everyone bailed last minute or just didn't show. We had quite a good list of people going beforehand. Either way, thanks to the people that did turn up. Atleast a bit of banter was had.

Is that the F4Rd LPG scenic that was at the last TDF rolling road day?

TBH the mids reigions need re-oragnising, was only when I looked at the map earlier and saw the area that Donny is meant to cover that I realised how far stretched the reigion is! Could easily accommodate two more reps imo.

Not sure if TDF have done any work on it though, unless it has gone back in sine the RRd day.

The only thing I miss about living in Nottingham is Wollaton Park,
I use to love taking my German Shepard there for a swim in the lake,
don't miss the millions of average speed cameras everywhere though.

Shame you had a poor turnout, but atleast those of you that did show up had an afternoon out.

The guy with the silver one is Mick from Diamond Motors on here who has worked on the green 172 Scenic.
