work manuals and engine codes

Car  Clio 172
Hi its coming up to the time to change my timing belts and was wondering if you can use the workshop manual from the f4r730. Mine is the f4r736. From what i can understand the belts are pretty much the same. what im wondering is are all the torques the same for the idoler pullys and the cam pullys. I cant find a manual for the f4r736 if anybody has got one.
Cheers, gaz

be sure to have a buddy to help you and the original renault tools before attempting this. there's also a thread in the sticky area of this section which I recommend reading first
I see that you're a paid member, there's a guide in the specific section but do read other threads also because some of the operations you should do might not be in the guide.
Search "cam locking tools" and you'll find a 4 page thread where some of the RS guru's give some good advice
All that said I think you'll be fine without a manual ;) (you MUST have the tools though!)

Cheers ripp. I've got the tdc locking pin and the cam locking horse shoe shape thing and after Christmas I'm ordering the pulley locking tool. From what I have read already it seemed pretty straight forward with the tools like you say. I'll have another look through some of the other threads about it.
