Worried about getting stolen....

Just acquired a Pioneer DVD player for the car, really nice 6.5 inch flip up screen....the works.

But as its obviously not a detachable face its going to be constantly on show....wondering whether or not to sell it.....got it really cheap through work....so not gonna lose anything on it.....

suggestions ?

Me personally, m8 - I would never put something like that in my car. It's just too damn tempting for the scroats out there. What came with the Clio is good enough for me.

I've learnt from sh1theads in the past of the price you pay for having decent kit fitted in your dash. Knackered door locks, split plastics on the dash and chopped wires.

If it can't be detatched - I'd definitely sell it on...

Yer thats what im thinking....im a student so aint got loads of cash and a £250.00 excess on my insurance means £250.00 if they smash the window and rip my dash apart.....thanks for the comments.

thats the set...its outstanding....but when it says partial removeable face....then thats a joke...you can take a small section off which make no difference...

What's the point of having a DVD player on the dash anyway? It's not as though you can watch it while you're driving. Why would you sit in your car watching DVDs when your sofa is more comfortable?!

yep - just sold it for £300.00 - just get a nice alpine headunit with the cash instead - any suggestions?
