Worst Induction Kit on a 172?

I've been having a better look under my bonnet this evening, first time I've had a decent look since buying it last week. I don't know who would put this kit on it and think it would be an improvement. Shouldn't it have a seperate breather aswell as there isn't a smaller diameter pipe coming off it as a standard one would have??

I've got a standard airbox and have ordered the elbow, so it shouldn't be on much longer.

I wish mine had that one when I bought it! It had some crappy universal thing on it from hellfrauds. I'd seen bigger cones on a 1 litre! lol

Standard airbox is defiantely the way forward!

they're not that bad. depends how hot you get it under the bonnet. If you're in traffic for ages and get heat soak then give it some beans, you might notice it's a bit gutless. With enough airflow into the bay you'll be alright. If you're that bothered, make some heat-sheilding from the rad
