me and a mate are after a project to start. This is about 2 mins from where we work and are going to keep it in the work garage so we can both spend time on it. He is a big vw fan and i have always had a soft spot for the mk1. Looking to spend about £450 and then another £400 on it.

I had a red one with 90k, Full VW specialist history, real nice car and had it advertised for £895 and couldn't sell it!

If you're doing it to make money, i'd advise against it.

If you're doing to have a cool car to smoke for the summer, its a great idea!
