Worthwhile mods on an F4R

Ok im getting a 182 soon.

I would like some more horses but im unsure of how.

Whats the most i can do with the std ecu?

Cams? Headwork? Bigger Tb?
 


almost guaranteed that the head will be crap as standard (a la 172), work with that and youll see some decent gains

And head work is invisible to the naked eye.

Where is ben? He does that stuff does he not?

the head isnt actually that bad, it is already CNCd from factory

Power Engineering were impressed with Roamers
 


indeed, the std head is far from crap.....its good as far as a cast and robotically machined head goes.....not as good as honda performance heads, but good.

ANyway, work the inlet manifold (even with the tidier casting its still w**k), some headowork.....not truely invisible, but unless the inspector knows what hes looking for a blind eye will be passed over it.

Dont bother with cams.....yet.

headwork and manifold work will see the largest gains.
