If i sold her and bought a 172?

just that i am fed up with paying 190 quid a month finance and even though i dont need that money to live on i would rather be saving for a house deposit...

So effectively i could pay off the remaining finance, have a 172 and be almost 200 pounds a month richer.

anyone gone from 182-172 or the otherway around?

i know i would relly miss her, especially the colour but i think it would be a sensible thing to do...

any thoughts people? i am confused!!

I am currently thinking about getting shot of mine as i want the money more than the car right now. I do love it and it is all paid for but i keep thinking about the depreciation over the next year which is only going to get worse when the new Clio is launched. Its a tough call.

Right now i would sell it for 10k, maybe buy a nice Williams for about 4k and pocket the change. Decisions, decisions.

I think youd miss it, but 172s are lovely, and so similar. If you got a black one and put 182 wheels on and Cup spoiler pack, only you would know the difference! Only a Clio enthusiast would notice the different interior.

It just depends on how much you need/want the money.

i dont need or want the money..

i think i would just like to not have a 190 quid taken out every month when i could have a slightly older clio with exactly the same spec and performance.

its not a problem paying 190 a month just starting to annoy me really!

the 182 is a more complete car IMO, small changes that all add up to a better drive. i had my phase 2 02 plater from new for 2 & 1/2 years and now had my 54 plater 182 for about 6 months, it just feels better. If i had to or wanted to free up some cash i would otherwise dont bother.

I would go for the debt free option althought the 182 is nice it will depreciate when the new Clio comes out sell it now and get a good 172 and be debt free. My humble opinion, its what i would do

thats one option yeah ;)

alternatives would obviously be the 172 which are still a very good car tbh, Id go for a Cup, some change and cams/remap to 200+bhp :D... but then again Im stupid when it comes to cars... dont know when to call it a day with em...
