Hi all,

Just a quick thread to ask would this be good for my 2001 Clio 1.2?

My clio is the Ph2 model so im sure it will fit? And for £18 i cant really go wrong really.

If any of you have any better ideas then let me know as want some small good modifications for my car that wont make it look 'chavvy'

Anything you do to a 1.2 Clio will look chavvy IMO (or is that just me getting old, lol)

well i want to do some modifications to it as its bog standard apart from some alloys that came with it but i want some 172 alloys some time in the future for the car.
Maybe lower the car but not massively like most people do, just about 40mm tops id say.
I was thinking about getting the windows professionally tinted rather than some shabby halford tints like most of the normal chavs.
As it has no fog lights in the front bumper, i would like to get some put in sometime as imo they look good!
Want to find someone with a pc polisher? and get the horrible yellow tinted colour out of the front lights as it is starting to come up on them.
maybe just small modifications inbetween all these but unsure yet, might change the door speakers as they arnt really amazing sound quality

get yourself an RS grille, you won't have to spend much more than that and will look 1000x better!

Save up a bit more and go for the RS grille, will look a lot better than that. You can find them cheap if you know where to look...

would you say ebay is the best bet for an rs grille? im presuming the rs grille is easy to fit? Anyone know if the 172/182 alloys fit onto non sport clios or is it hard due to the size of them as im sure someone said that they had trouble with the arches touching once fitted?

RS Grill is a straight swap for the standard upper grill, well, was on my old 04 1.2
Shame as I just sold my old RS Grille for £35.00 a few weeks ago

Ah damn i would of bought it off you, only just got my car a few weeks ago so slowly want to change the looks of the car. Where do you say would be the best place to buy an RS Grille from? i looked on ebay and it doesnt come up with any search results when i type in 'RS Grille'.

Also, if anyone has silver vision bulbs in their car, would they be able to direct me the right way for a good fair priced site for them as i am unsure on where they are best to be bought from.
