Having seen an old college crash a VTS, have it jigged to repair it and it continue to snap drive shafts I would rather splash the cash on a HPI clear one. I know a write off could include an infinite amount of possabilities where by the damage could be 100% repairable, I would however, still prefer to buy a car which to the best of my knowledge had not been crashed or damage repaired. I also think that although you may not have a problem purchasing a Cat C/D repair the re-sale market is very limited.
