Do many people use R888's for road use ?

Im going to be getting new tyres soon as i feel the ones i have on the front are rubbish and the 2 PE's on the back are getting low as they where second hand.

I have priced up the R888's and they are coming in at a nice £780. Just wanting to know if its worth it ?

For road use I can't see them lasting long tbh.

I've got them on my other car - unless it's a 50/50 track/fast road car I wouldn't bother, waste of money if you're driving about normally. Are R1R's are available in clio sizes? I've heard very good things about them, just avoid the T1-R Proxies!

I am running R888 for road use. My 172 only does about 2k a year now though.
