Wrapped my side mirrors

Fancied having my side mirrors in black so I took them of and got my brother to wrap them in gloss black. I am really pleased with how it looks.

Thanks, Yeah thats what I thought, plus I'm going to get the diffuser strayed in gloss black and also got a cup spoiler to go on with gloss black ends.

shouldn't be, as it looks out of place now not being gloss black where everything else is. saw a picture of one with it done somewhere and it looks really nice.

Get wrapping that diffuser. If it looks pap then just peel it off. Will only cost 10/15 quid in materials if your brothers doing it no?

thats the reason I didn't get them sprayed as I can just peel it of if I don't like or want to change.

Well I thought this but would it not melt as the exhaust run through? might be worth a try.

Probably not to hard, get yourself some decent vinyl so I will make your like easier, if your no good then just peel it of. brother used a heat gun to melt around to make a smooth finish and some tool to apply the vinyl with. Worth a crack. If not I'm sure I get get him to wrap them.

I have been thinking about doing my mirrors in Carbon. Not sure how it would look on a RB182.

I had an RB182 gloss black wheels and bullets, should of done the mirrors black on that. Only problem with carbon wrap is that its a matte finish and very hard to keep the pattern straight when melting and going round curves.

It looks very good. Its a shame you could not wrap the mirror bases. Then it might just finish it off.
