Wrong profile tyres

  2004 1.5 DCi 80 Dyna
I have some good tread tyres at the mo on the car but have recently found that they are the wrong profile (had the car since July with no probs from the wheels)

they are 195/45/R15 but should be 195/50/R15

Is this a major problem? I reckon I have another 2K left out of them but I have enough dosh to change them if its going to effect summet like my suspension?

I was told as the car isn't lowered the suspension is being used more as the tyre wall is smaller (if you get what I mean?)

I wouldn't worry about it , the difference is negligible , only 10mm in diameter . Use the tyres until they need replacing then get the correct size all round next time .

I've run different profiles front and rear before by accident. Can't say I noticed any problem from that.

If yours are the same profile all round then your tyres will be perfectly fine for you to run them into the canvas.
