WTF.. Where’s my oil gone

I check my oil every weel or so and so far (6000 miles), its all been there and the colour of unadulterated childs p*ss. But last night i got the oil light; checked my level this morning and its at the VERY bottom of the dipstick and almost black.

Whats going on???

Should i be alarmed???

182? arent they designed in such a way that they use oil?

have just been to my local renault dealer....

"how much is excelium?"

"we dont sell it in bottles but well put it in for you - its £6 a litre. Tkae it round the back and one of the lads will put some in"

...4 litres and a brake fluid top up later;

"how much bud?"

"dont worry about it....they go well dont they!"

my 172 has NEVER needed a top up of oil.

Hows that for service

If you had 4 litres of oil put in Id be very worried as to where it all went and what damage it may have done to your engine!
