anybody used these before? i think i may need a new 172 cat and found this company who seem cheap. they have a ceramic cat for £127 delivered. whats the difference between a ceramic monolith cat and a steel monolith cat....WTF is a monolith?

yeah there a good site for bits mate, no idea what the difference between the two cats are though, i think (not sure) the steel one is an upgrade of sorts, because the ceramic one says standard. id just get the ceramic one mate

I work there well Sutton auto factors, part of the same company... a ceramic cat is a aftermarket cheaper version and the metal one is a o.e spec one, usually twice the price or so... not really any point in getting the metal one to be honest.

Cheaper one has a 2 year guarantee and the metal a 3 year.
