Xbox 360 - 17th November - what games are you buying?

17th seems to be a big day for the 360, launch of COD3, Gears of war and that tom clancy game.

Which ones are you getting, I have Gears of War and COD3 on order.

I thought it was rather good actually, but then I was expecting it to be total crap so I guess that made it seem a bit better...was a bit repetitve though..

arent acheivements just an incentive to achieve more points and have more overall than your mates. do nowt else i dont think.

yup! unlocking acheivements give you GS (Gamer Score) the number on your Gamer Tag....just gives you more to do in a game rather than just ploughing through it and saying you've "completed" it... each game has pretty much 1000GS to earn by unlocking stuff..a game isn't truely completed untill you have unlocked everything imo...

some of the acheivements are silly tho...like a GRAW one of them is to play multiplayer for 8 hours straight...won't be doing that one!

sorry rainbow 6 is the tom clancy game being released on the 17th too, 3 very good games being released on the same day.

One of the lads asked for 20!!! Obviously he was told where to go. We aren't allowed to take loads and ebay them. I asked for 5 or 6. One for me, and the rest for my close friends.
