XBOX 360 HD data transfer, Help please...

Just bought a new 250GB 360 Slim line console, need to transfer my data off my 60GB harddrive, only just payed for a full years live subscription so dont wanna lose that and i cant face starting Fallout 3 again. Anyone know the easiest way to do it??

Never done it, but you need to buy the MS/Xbox cable iirc.

Here, but there may be cheaper alternatives.

You can alway sell it on once you're done with it, though.

I think you can actually copy your profle to a usb stick now. not entirely sure about the save games though.

Otherwise the transfer cable works fine, you can get them cheaper from MS themselves @ £12.99

Ye, you can copy your files using a USB stick if you have the newest version of the OS software. You can only use up to an 8Gig USB.

i thought it was 16gb?

i transfered all my data using a 2gb stick lol all i've got. took a while buts it's possible save £15 on the cable that way.

be mindfull that you will need to format what ever stick it is you use first though to make it compatible with the xbox.

You not got a USB stick Adam? Its super easy, when you plug it in you'll have to format it to work on the xbox and just do a few/one trips over to the new box
