Got the media centre working on my mates 360 with his media centre pc, it works really well apart from the fact you cant play xvid or divx encoded files.
its a really good idea if you have a media centre pc elsewhere and an xbox 360 in a different room as you can then watch films and stuff if there an mpg or wmv
The codec thing proper sucks that as most things are encoded in these formats, so stupid of microsoft to do this. We found a way around to stream divx to the 360 but nothing for xvid.
