xbox and the internet

  Fiesta ST-3
Lads the lappy is picking up my house internet (wireless) with no bother and signal strength is top notch.

Xbox won't pick it up at all?

Help please.

Ahh right.

Didn't think you needed a disk?

Is there a light in it? Is it red or green?

Hmmm well its not picking up any signal :( How do I configure my wireless or should the adaptor just be able to locate it automatically?

  Edition 30
System Settings > Network Settings > Configure Network > Its should give you an option to scan?

Has your adaptor got a light on it?

Must be your Router playing up.

Tried the classic on/off?

If not then I'm stumped.

Red light when theres no signal, green when hooked up. On the Xbox dongle this is.

Is your router broadcasting its name? If not it may may not pick it up. Mine never used too.

+1 to the light.

My old adaptor died for no apparent reason. I didnt even notice it had no light on! haha.

PS. I didnt know unplugging and rebooting a router constituted as a re-install ;).

Just turn things on and off and they work, tried and tested.

Glad you're back on-line.
