xbox gamertags - forum not working?

Just tried using the forum's gamertag feature to add a few people to my Xbox Live friends list, but it's not working - the xbox website comes up with an error like i've tried navigating to the wrong page.

Any chance of a fix for this?

If anyone wants to add me for a laugh, i'm only really using Forza4 or MW3 (badly) these days.

The add as friend bit has never worked as far as I can remember. Just copy and paste in to xbox.com; done.
