Hey Guys Can Anyone Help I Try To Play Two Player On Xbox Live So Obviously I Sign In And Then My Mate Signs In On My Xbox 360 Aswell. I Have An Xbox Live Account And He Doesnt Is That Why He Cant Join My Team Ie. Gears Of War?????

lol doesnt that annoy you putting a capital letter at the end of every word? It must be a pain in the arse to do that?! My mate does it too.

Anyway, hopefully someone could answer this as I'm going to jump on the Live bandwagon soon and GoW is one of the reasons. That and Rainbow Six

You would need 2 Gold subscriptions on the same console.

Not sure if GOW supports it anyway though.

GOW as with many other online/coop/multiplayer games, has a feature to sign in a guest live account. In GOW, go through the first two menus, i.e

Versus --> PLayer Match -->

Then press the 'Y' (yellow) button, the side dashboard will pop out giving you the option to sign a 'Guest Live' account in, click it and you should then see both your live account and a 'Guest' live account in GOW (look toward the bottom of the screen)

It will also allow you to sign two live accounts in, say your mate pops round, all you'll need to do is recover his gamertag, enter his password and sign him in using the second controller

Never do the "Recover Gamertag" procedure unless you have to.

It basically means that you lose your save files on your original Xbox.

So when you go home to play, you can't use your 4star abilities in Crackdown, you can't use your Pimp cain in Saints Row, you're on level1 in Rainbow Six etc etc etc.

You get 3 free Gold trials with each xbox remember.

Just sign up for a new account on any old email address and details, and choose silver account, when you do that, it gives you a month of Gold for free, meaning you can play at a mates house etc.

Fair enough. Never done it myself just know of people who have, never heard theyd lost anything mind.

Thats the other option i guess, but with GOW, R6:Vegas and a few others, there is an option to sign in a Guest live account which is probably the easiest way

I've done recover gamertag quite a few times to my mates house and recovered again on my own, and i've not lost anything. I don't see how your saves would vanish :dapprove:

Perhaps they changed something in which case I've been spouting drivel !!

I was always lead to believe if you recovered your gamertag then it made all of the files on your hard drive invalid when you went back to use them.
