xenon bulb blown

driving down a country lane and the n/s xenon bulb has gone out. i am presuming that the bulb has gone. it looks like a pig to change, and the renault manual says renault have to do it...

is it possible for a r****d to do it, or is a renault job?

how much will it cost for the replacement bulb..and how much for renault to do it?

also what bulbs are needed?

Sure it's not the ignitor? Renault job either way. Dangerous job.

I changed mine myself but cut my hands to bits on it. It is difficult to do.i was lucky cos i had a spare headlight and knew which way to put it in

could you not take the light out and remove the bulb that way?

got in the car this morning and the auto lights came on.....both xenons were working?? wtf?

9 minutes is my best bumper off time, its an absolute doddle, then headlight is 3 bolts and off

both my bulbs went then the "balist" (same as starter i think). i think the starters were about 100 fitted. OE renualt bulbs are 120 each !

did them myself and almost cried / killed myself. it was hard!

you can get others cheaper on ebay

if i paid £120 for a bulb...id rob the shop when they were closed to get some return for my money...robbin bastids
