Xenon bulbs

Anybody know the price on Xenon bulbs?? One of mine has blown and i think i'm being charged far too much for one bulb! ( £132 ) The mechanic seems to think you can only buy them from a renault dealer, is this true ? is he taking the p*ss with me?? :dapprove: any help would be appreciated.

£132 for just the bulb thats far too much, £20 for 2 off ebay, d2s or d2r is what you need mate

are they HID ones or just the white xenon-gas-filled bulbs?

also standard clio xenons are 4300k but id recommend 6000k or 8000k

i'm not too sure which one's they are, havent got a clue when it comes to cars, he first of all said i needed a whole new headlight ( £70 ) so i'm a little bit confused on what to do....

+1, must be on about proper cliosport xenons if hes been quoted £132 in which case 2 for £20 of ebay

if a whole new headlight was 70 pound then you must have standard halogen bulbs in which case there about £5 for 2 lol and h7 bulbs are the fitment you want

definatly if hes saying a bulb costs 132 and the hole unit is only 70

hmmm, any advice on what to do then, my cars in the garage atm, cant exactly drive it with no headlights workin, cant afford what he's chargin atm, off work for a month :S

I thought the replacement xenon bulbs were around 90 quid.

I do mean proper xenons though

I thought also the new units were around 600 quid

i got quoted £150 for the buld and £128 for fitting when mine went, i couldnt afford it so left it and a week later it so how started workin again, lucky me.
