xenon failure

can someone give me some help pls. My drivers side xenon lamp is not working. Everything else works. I have visually checked the connections and all seems fine. Its the least accessible side but all seems good. Is there a relay for the individual lights or one does both. The reason I ask is I have checked the relays behind the glove compartment and can isolate the passenger side (light goes out) but need to know if its the same relay for both. If its the same relay for both then the problem is at least foward of the relay.....its an expensive item to replace so need some help here pls.....

The bulb? If not the bulb then it will be the ballast. It will need replacing. Check the fuse too mate. Theres 2 fuses to each headlight. I bought a new ballast once thinking i checked everything i could think of that could possibly go wrong...but forgot to check the fuse. It ended up being the fuse :| lol!

I know its a dumb question.....but I take it the fuses i need to check are in the main box under the bonnet......they havent put them somewhere else for me to search for have they. Cheerz for your reply............oooooops just remembered where they are...

I have a spare pair of bulbs for sale if you need them, standard original Osram's

If the bulbs are fine...then you'll need a new balast box...you can get them on ebay mate...'replacement ballast'

Swap the bulbs over, if the passenger side now works and the drivers doesn't you need a new bulb. If the passenger side still doesn't work then you need a new ballast/starter.

Cheapest place for the bulb (D2S 4300k) And I'd recommend a pair to get a brightness/colour match.
Renault for the ballast/starter, comes as a kit with both.

Simples.
