Xenon headlight problem - Also possible to revert to std bulb?

Hi All,

My recently purchased car seems to have an ongoing problem with the drivers side xenon. I think the starter unit that fixes to the back of the bulb needs changing.
I have changed the bulb once but that has gone again.

Is it possible to revert the whole set up back to standard bulbs etc? getting pissed off with the fiddling around!!......clearly the plug that clips into the starter unit would have to be changed?

Have to replace the whole headlight unit on both sides to revert to halogen lamps.
