My nearside headlight is starting to fog up. Before I crack out the 8lb hammer and electric drill Homer style, can it be fixed (without Renaults help)?

make sure the caps (dust covers) on the back are properly sealed and put onto the lamp.

There is also a drainage/venting tube near the top on the back make sure this is not blocked or clogged with anything.

Other then that, u may have cracked it onthe front?

I don't think I have cracked it. I will check the caps etc. Thanks for that Has, it gives me a good starting point. The drill and hammer can stay in the cupboard, for now LOL.

Both of mine mist up as well, the offside one more than the nearside. I think a lot of them do, it's just Renaults!

running a bead of silicone to seal 'em up properly usually works on misty foglights, might be worth giving that a go ?

The bungs on the back are most important. I had to have all new headlamps in the first week. The bungs were lying in the front boot and the goldfish bowls blue everything :)
