Xenons & MOT

My mot ran out 5 days ago and luckily ive just found out. I only need to put my standard number plate on instead of my french one, and im going to swop my xenons back to standard clusters for it. But, will the xenons actually fail without washer jets? or is that some places being more picky than others?

You might get away with it, but yeah as you said, some garages are more picky than others.

Might aswell try with ur xenons clusters on the car, without the washer jets, but if they fail you because of the no washer jets, then then change it back to your old lights...

Coz obviously u will want to keep ur xenons on, so might aswell try first!

true, i need to put some sidelight bulbs in though lol. Im actually shitting it because im at uni 20 miles from home and i only found out my MOT when i got here this morning, so if i get caught i can get up to a £1000 fine ...no points luckily.

i hope i do. I'll just stick sidelight bulbs in tonight ready for tomorrow. they offer free re-tests if it fails anyway so its not the end of the world
