xr2i seats

I have the chance to get some k reg xr2i seats and was wondering whether or not i would be able to get them to go into my phase 1 clio 1.2. I have heard that the base plate things will be different but will i be able to fit them or not. If the bases are different can i get new ones made up. Where would i be able to get this done if i could and roughly how much would it cost. Cheers for any light anyone can spare.

Are they the MEGA glared side buckets? they are nice but they dont beat Recaros!

yeah they are the flared ones. i Know recaros are better but they are a lot more because i can get the seats of my mate for next to nothing.

I recon you could mod the original Clio sub frames to fit the XR2 seats as ive modded ones before to fit Cobra seats rather than use the crappy cobra ones.

That sounds like a better idea and a cheaper one, but what did you actuallly have to do and was it easier or not.
