Xsara washer jets...

  Works...kind of...
Anyone fitted some to their Clio?

Done alot on 306's and some 106's.

Was thinking about giving it a go for the sake of a tenner.

They shoot a mist of water all over your windscreen instead of the normal concentrated jet.

Like so:

I did think the same. Bunch of spammers! :( ;)

I'll get some when I have money in my PayPal. Can't see them being too much of a job to fit if I'm honest.

Well I never said it was a new thing.

I wanted to know if anyone had retro-fitted them to Clio's, then you bunch of cretins barged in! LOL!

Not sure it's worth the hassle of a group buy over £10. ;)

If the answer to my question was ever told, I may do some enquiries.

Just what i was thinking Billy :S

Does anyone know if there a straight fit ?

My old polo Gti used to have jets like that but they were under bonnet not on the bonnet surface ;)

It looked like it had no washer jets but it did, they were under the back edge of the bonnet hidden.

Heres pics

^^^ I don't recall anybody asking " are they difficult to fit " :S . They just look bigger than the Clio washer jets so maybe the holes in bonnet on a Clio aren't big enough ;)

The washer jets on my Polo Gti that i pictured were hidden on the underneath of the bonnet.

So when you looked at the bonnet there was no washer jets. :)

So if you were to fit these to the clio you'd have to weld up and fill the standard washer jet holes and drill new ones on the inside of the bonnet.

Do they Xsar ones clip into washer jet holes on the outside of the bonnet ?
