Yellow brown gunk on cap

  Clio Tom Tom
Went to put oil in my clio tomtom today and noticed yellow/brown gunk on the cap, there wasn't much. I have no issue with the car no smoke ect.. I do drive a lot for work and on previous posts I have read that it could be an issue from driving short journeys. I can't get to a mechanic until next weekvand I'm worried it could be the head gasket. Anyone any ideas

Possibly due to the short drives matey. Clean the cap and keep an eye on it.
As you say no white smoke means you should be okay.

If your coolant level is ok it's only condensation/moisture in the oil with doing short journeys. Keep an eye on coolant level.

Isn’t the 1.2 well known for this? Has a long oil filer pipe or something?

its condensation in the plastic rocker cover, nothing to worry about and if you take it to a garage you will end up paying for an un needed head gasket as ive heard plenty do before lol
