Yellow square at bottom of front windowscreen

Ive noticed it on my 1.2 aswell, does anyone know what it is? Its in the centre at the bottom

It's for displaying permits etc - I think it's a European thing that Renault kept on UK cars.

Is it like a sleeve thing? To put stuff in it?

No. It's the part of the screen that doesn't have the UV protection incase you have parking permits/passes that can't be read by systems through the UV protected area of the screen.

From what I understand of it anyway.
