Compared to the T1R's, I think they aren't so good. Power understeer a-plenty - never had that with the Toyo's. On the same section of road the Toyos's gave a little chirp and then gripped; the Spec 2's slide all the way across the road towards the barrier unless I lift off.
In the wet, again the T1R's seem better. I'm not talking about shifting standing water (that scares me with either) but when the road is damp.
Having said that I think when the Yoko's are hot and the raod is dry they give better grip than the Toyo's. Difficult one I guess :approve:
I've had Spec 2s on both my Mini Copper S Works and my 182, both in 15" great in the dry, not bad in the wet, can aquaplane in deep water, very noisy when part worn, sounds like all your bearings have gone.
