JB didnt keep up with 170bhp, dont worry

I was trying, they all kept overtaking on Snakes Pass, and I got stuck behind all the feckless dozy sunday drivers. Was getting annoying. Then there was the prick in the Aston Martin, that appeared from nowhere and barged into the clio convoy near Glossop.

Enjoyed the "spirited" drive on the way back

I think the Clio is starting too give up though, when we all went down the dual carriage way from the cinema... The throttle seemed to stick and a huge smell of burning for 10 seconds, took my feet off the pedals and revs where still climbing EEK!

The engine seems too be running real hot as well :S But coolant temps are fine

Wondered why you dissappeared backwards rather quickly. Wondered if the missus was makin you slow down.

I was surprised it didn't go for the overtake on the way back up snake pass. I got a whole 4-5 cars ahead

Well you didnt miss much tbh... with all tht smoke comin from marks zaust, you couldnt see much :rasp:

pure white/blue smoke, nice smell aswell!

I got Owned...

i was getting the willy smart for the meet on the snake pass. Ive never been to one before but its only a spit away so i thought id make the effort...

Spent 9am-7:30pm tidying him up, on saturday - he looked immense! whole job- engine bay wheels off and cleaned properly, arches cleaned, undercarridge etc...

Letting him off the axel stands and the jack rolled down my drive, pulling the axle stand on its side and slipped off the jack. Stupidly i went to pull the stand out so it didnt make a massive gouge under the car.... Its broke my Left hand index and middle finger, trapping it between the car and axle stand. Then i had to reset the jack to jack it off my hand; Lol.
Been in hospital for the past 30hrs, had a operation at 9:30am this morning, putting a wire down my finger. 4weeks off work. Oh and morphine=immense..

That Aston Martin was a t**t, barging infront of me. I didn't even see where it came from, it just appeared.

I crunched 3rd gear :dapprove: missed the opportunity to overtake. Didn't get you very far ahead in the end though.
