for those that think it wont do wonders the polish is shining alot better than the previous time i did it and it feels nicer aswell.
Claying removes embedded and stuck on crap of the surface of your paint work, it is no abbrassive and contains nothing that will polish the paints and make a high gloss. It will however have make polishes and waxes more effective when used after it and give the smooth finish you have noticed.
Ive got a megs clay bar & some QD, been to much of a pussy to use clay yet, have used the qd loads tho haha nice for little sprucing after removing the fly collection throughout the week !
So question is if I give the clay a go what potenial for paint work damage is there then ?

Depends on where it is parked or used, in an area of heavy industry or near railway lines may need doing monthly. Garaged and hardly left outside - never
