ok..so going back again with my cup about this attrocious banging noise when accelerating hard, i rang my dealer to book it in, and there service department was busy so they asked for a contact number to ring me back "shortly"

well..i left my mobile number..that was 5 and a half hours ago...

nice one renault how to look after your customers...Im very pissed off, as much as i love my cup id happily sell it now cause of this banging noise, only thing is..no-one would buy it for that exact reason

It`s nothing to worry about. Mines going in for some top of strut mods on thurs will report back asap.
Told it`s common prob, also my center section of exhaust is being replaced.

My 172 used to do that as well. Quite a loud bang, even had the top of the struts modded and still did it. 182 doesnt do it so i presume theres a solution now.

i like the noise... coupled with my zuast and induction... sounds like a jumbo jet's taking off when i hit the limiter in 1st lol.
