My plans are...

Remove door cards
Remove Renault seats
Remove Renault steering wheel
Fit super lightweight race seats with harnesses
Fit suede race wheel
Buy new suede gloves

That's it untill the business starts performing, then it'll be swiftly followed by coilover fitting and full setup, and maybe a cage.

Might get a wash at some point if it's lucky too!

I've been thinking about a Leon Cupra R 225 as well Mark, the only thing that puts me off at the moment is they're a big 'bargey' to drive. They feel really heavy. I want to try one that's had some suspension fettling...

Dan

really?? didn't know that! well s3 or evo then lol. Although a 350z would be very cool! ive driven one of them and got very sideways a few times! Always good for a buzz ;)

Don't get me wrong, they're not like driving a Mondeo or something, they're probably just comparable to anything else of the size. It didn't body roll a lot really just felt 'heavy' - I think it was just because I'd owned a 206 for 3 years really heh. I prefered it to driving the S3 to be honest (and standard for standard in the dry, I'd hazard the Cupra was the faster car as well...) - I got the feeling with the S3 that I was getting an older car, with more miles, and paying the same money because of the badge. If it was proper Quattro and not Haldex I'd have been more tempted but when it was shifting the power around it just felt a little 'odd'. I'm sure you'd get used to it mind you - but the ride was truely bone shaking as well (this one was on massive RS4 wheels - 18s or 19s - though.)

I haven't driven a 350z because a non-import nice one was more than I really wanted to spend, and I feared that I'd like it too much hehe - and I couldn't get insured for less than £2800 on an Evo (yet the V6 cost less than £900...).

  Renault Clio 1.4 Automati
- Sort electrics out - bad earth somewhere
- Service, and get it up to a standard to pass MOT in feb.

The list could go on lol
